Roasting
As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate and softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa offers citrus hints to add balance. The result is a coffee that can be enjoyed by itself or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It is a great match with lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.
We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding some water that is just boiling will keep it warm. After brewing, let the coffee sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water is then pushed through the grounds with the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can result in unpleasant components in your cup.
